Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WPSL Golf mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Important notice: The App may be developed and maintained by contractors or vendors on behalf of WPSL Golf Club and the World Players Super League ("WPSL") context in which the club operates. Unless expressly stated otherwise, those parties do not control all club or league business decisions. For organizational matters, use the contact options in these Terms and on our Contact page.

2. Description of service

WPSL Golf Club is a private golf club experience in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, aligned with the World Players Super League ("WPSL") golf platform. Depending on the version of the App, features may include:

• News, updates, and information about events and the club
• Membership-related features and verification where offered
• Community and supporter-group style activities connected to the club
• Offers, discounts, or member benefits published through the App
• Interactive or promotional features from time to time
• Push notifications and in-app messages

Feature availability can change. Branding and marks used in the App belong to their respective owners and are used under applicable permissions.

3. Eligibility and registration

3.1 Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3.2 Account creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account and provide:

• A valid email address
• Accurate personal information
• Membership or profile details, if applicable

3.3 Account security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, for activity under your account, and for notifying us promptly of unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

4.1 Permitted uses

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, including accessing features related to the club and WPSL, community activities, and notifications.

4.2 Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App
• Share unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated means to access the App in violation of these Terms or applicable law
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
• Violate applicable laws or regulations

5. User-generated content

5.1 Content standards

When you submit feedback, comments, or other content, you agree to provide accurate information, respect others' rights, and not submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing material.

5.2 License

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content to provide and improve the services.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Our rights

The App and its content (including text, graphics, images, software, and design) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws, subject to rights retained by third-party brand owners.

6.2 Your rights

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the license in section 5.2.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Third-party services

8.1 External links

The App may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices, or for damages arising from your use of them.

8.2 Providers

We use third-party services that may include:

• Supabase for authentication and data storage
• Push notification services
• Analytics or performance tools

Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers and limitations

9.1 Service availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of any feature.

9.2 Content

Information in the App may be provided on an "as is" basis. Schedules, scores, or live data may be delayed or inaccurate. User content reflects individual views, not necessarily ours.

9.3 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, third-party actions, events beyond our reasonable control, technical faults, connectivity issues, or similar issues affecting competitions or in-app activities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your breach of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights, or unlawful or inappropriate content you submit.

Contractors and vendors involved in building or operating the App are not liable for WPSL or club policy choices, league rules, membership disputes between you and the club or league, or payment and fulfilment issues handled outside the App (for example, membership or merchandise processed via third-party storefronts). Direct those matters to WPSL or the relevant merchant through the channels they provide.

11. Termination

11.1 By you

You may stop using the App at any time by removing it from your device and, where available, requesting account deletion.

11.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or illegal activity, we discontinue the service, or the law requires it.

12. Updates

We may update the App for security, features, bug fixes, or legal compliance. We may modify these Terms; material changes may be communicated in the App or by notification, and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes should first be addressed in good faith; unresolved disputes may be brought in the appropriate courts or forums under UAE law.

14. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

For membership fees, merchandise, refunds, or payments processed outside the App (for example through Shopify or other vendors), contact the organization or merchant named in your purchase flow. App developers do not process those payments unless a specific in-app payment flow is offered and identified as such.

17. Club use, events, and benefits

17.1 Conduct

As part of the WPSL Golf Club community, you agree to treat staff, members, and other users respectfully and to follow reasonable codes of conduct published by the club or league.

17.2 Events and promotions

Predictions, games, or promotions are for entertainment unless expressly stated otherwise. Event details can change; confirm important information with official sources. We are not responsible for gambling or betting activity; use such services only where lawful.

17.3 Membership benefits

Benefits may change, are subject to availability, and are generally non-transferable. Renewal and verification rules apply as published by the club or league.

17.4 Payments and merchandise

Unless we state otherwise in the App, purchases are between you and the relevant seller or payment processor. Disputes about charges, delivery, or refunds are primarily between you and that party, subject to applicable consumer law.
